EU Multi-sectoral trade and investment fair in Armenia
You are kindly invited to the official openning ceremony of "Europe in Armenia" Expo, which will take place at 10:00, on 15 September 2017in Yerevan Expo Center, 3 H. Hakobyan.
The Delegation of the European Union to Armenia together with the European Business Association and the EU chambers of commerce present in Armenia are organizing the first EU Multi-sectoral trade and investment fair (Fair) under the "Europe in Armenia" Expo slogan. The European companies from different sectors, with the potential for the B2B matching opportunity, will exhibit their products and services. Hundreds of invited business visitors from the EU, Armenia, Iran and other countries will take part at the Fair, aiming at establishment of joint ventures and agreements. The opening ceremony included speeches by H.E. Mr. Piotr Świtalski, Ambassador, Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Mr. Robert Harutyunyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RA, and Mr. Petros Sourmelis, the Head of Unit, Directorate General Trade, European Commission.
The aim of the Trade Fair is to: 1. Increase the trade turnover between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia, 2. Explore investment advantages, 3. Provide Import and Export opportunities for European and Armenian manufacturers and service providers, and 4. Serve as a meeting place for European, Armenian and other foreign businesses.
The representatives of the EU, Armenian Government, diplomatic representations of the EU member states, international organizations, as well as representatives of the business associations will attend the Fair.

In the framework of the "Europe in Armenia" Expo, it is planned to have EU-Armenia-Iran Business forum. Development Foundation of Armenia is in charge for the organization of "EU-Armenia-Iran" Business forum. Among the agenda topics are the Free Economic Zone in Meghri and Armenia - Iran border managemnt. The forum will host participants from the EU, Armenia, Iran and other countries in the region. In the framework of the EU multi-sectoral trade and investment "Europe in Armenia" Expo, it is planned to have sectorial round tables, with participation of stakeholders from private and public sector, dedicated to:
- 10.30-11.30 – "Let us develop Armenia to "the" top Tourism Destination",
- 12.00-13.00 – "Consultants - Key to success in business", and
- 14.30 – 15.30 – " Let us export"
The Round tables are scheduled for 16 September 2017.
